Do you have a proposed or existing project in the City of Hanford? Could you use some help navigating the City's planning and permitting process?

The City of Hanford's Development Resource Center (DRC) is here to help. Every Wednesday afternoon, City employees will be available for free consultations to answer your questions and provide clear and comprehensive guidance on how to proceed with your project.

Some general topics that will be discussed during your consultation:

-Whether your project is a permitted use
-Considerations you should keep in mind as you move forward with your project
-Information about the process of obtaining City approvals

The DRC is a one-stop shop in that it typically includes representatives from the following City Departments/Divisions:

-Building
-Engineering
-Fire
-Planning

Once you submit the form below, the City will contact you to schedule a date/time for your consultation. Consultations will be limited to 30 minutes. Please feel free to bring any materials related to your project.

Disclaimer: The DRC consultation is not for formal site plan review or approval. The feedback and/or guidance provided by City staff is based upon information presented to them at the time of the meeting, and may change at a later time.

Note: If you haven't yet developed a business plan, it would be in your best interest to take advantage of Valley Community Small Business Development Center's free services.

Note: If you are ready to apply for planning applications and/or permits, please begin the approval process by visiting the City's Self-Service Portal.
